Dems Join Fascists and Vote 'Yes' for a Charlie Kirk Remembrance Day
Democrats, especially Chuck Schumer, truly are weak and ball-less.
This umbrella would be useless in a rainstorm, do you agree? This is how the Democrats in Congress are in the face of the fascist takeover of our government by Trump and the cultist Republican Party. The nation is gearing up for an official, bipartisan, government-created “Charlie Kirk Remembrance Day.”
This moment speaks volumes more eloquently than almost anything else that has transpired since January 20th of this year. It is the ultimate historical “black box,” and when historians will be sitting around in heat-protected underground living-spaces studying the collapse of the United States, this moment, the final buy-in by the whole political system, will be the one that they regard as “fascism’s debutante ball.”
58 Democrats in the House rejected the utter lunacy of this dark, dark moment in our nation’s history. Not a single Democratic Senator had the appropriate understanding of history to vote against this farce. Chuck Schumer, utterly useless waste of space that he is, demonstrated yet again how good he is at surrendering his morals and caving to bullies. He threatened the other Dems under him and demanded they all support the measure.
With security on the level of a Super Bowl and a speaker lineup on par with a state funeral, conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s service will combine memorial with political rally, requiring an unprecedented level of resources.
President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and five members of the Cabinet will deliver remarks at the event Sunday. The White House will send two government planes of staff. More than 200,000 people have responded online that they wanted tickets to the event at the 63,000-seat State Farm Stadium, and organizers have prepared overflow seating in a nearby arena even as they are unsure how many will turn out.
Law enforcement agencies have prepared extensive security measures to address the risks of a rare gathering with much of the presidential line of succession present inside an NFL stadium. Five hundred to 800 Secret Service officers have been deployed to the Phoenix area to help secure the event, according a local official briefed on the figure by law enforcement, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss security plans. The Department of Homeland Security has given the memorial its highest security designation, which is typically reserved for Super Bowls.
This designation is reserved for events of the highest national significance and enables the federal government to provide the full range of law enforcement and security resources necessary to support local officials in ensuring a safe and successful event,” said a DHS senior official, who also spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the security plans.
Many of us, whether aware of or not of Kirk’s words, by now understand the degree of bigotry and hate for which he stood. We want to ask how the United States of America could honor such a vile person. We can ask this question, but in an America that so tragically re-elected the worst and most criminal president in our history, the “how” here is quite understood. Trump, who cares nothing about Charlie Kirk for the simple reason that Kirk is another human, and Trump only cares about himself, is playing this moment to the hilt because it is both ultimately divisive and gives him the appearance of an excuse for ending the 1st Amendment rights of his critics.
The question, however, that isn’t so easily answerable is why the f*** the Democratic Congress went along with this bullshit. If the situation were reversed, not a single Republican would have voted for such a “national day of mourning.” Why did the Democrats join in on this farce?
Next, we will watch as CNN, which has become Fox-light, will treat this spectacle with the same amount of whispered respect and weightiness as if the pope or a former president had passed.
Yet another disgusting and inexplicable low is upon us.
