Hillary Clinton Bangs the Gong AGAIN, but Few Will Hear Her…YET AGAIN
This article is not about Secretary Clinton; it is about her message, and it must be heard AGAIN!

As much as Hillary Clinton is loved by her fans, and I am one of them, she has the ability to rile people in a way that I fear not even Donald Trump can — the hatred for her falls into many camps, with the misogynist camp leading the pack. The complexities arise, however, when we find out how many women dislike the former secretary of state.
HRC’s (Hillary Rodham Clinton) latest comments will not melt any hearts; regrettably and yet again, the messenger is gang-stomped by people, resulting in an unheard message.
In wide-ranging and unusually frank comments, Mrs. Clinton said Democrats had spent decades in a state of denial that a right enshrined in American life for generations could fall — that faith in the courts and legal precedent had made politicians, voters and officials unable to see clearly how the anti-abortion movement was chipping away at abortion rights, restricting access to the procedure and transforming the Supreme Court, until it was too late.
“We didn’t take it seriously, and we didn’t understand the threat,” Mrs. Clinton said. “Most Democrats, most Americans, did not realize we are in an existential struggle for the future of this country.”
She said: “We could have done more to fight (Hillary Clinton Has Some Tough Words).”
Over 1,500 comments were made on the interview, and many of them, coming from Democrats and anti-Trumpists, focused not on what Clinton was saying but on who was saying it.
Some guy called “Marty” made this really stellar comment. It is so prophetic that it leaves you slack-jawed: How could someone be so smart?
Blame the voters. Blame the party. Blame the Russians. There’s only one person left on the planet that Hillary refuses to blame for her loss.
Let me say it for you: Shut up, Marty! The interview was not about the 2016 election. It was about 2024 and how Democrats and liberals are too polite and comfortable to realize that the fascists in our country are more motivated, passionate, and willing to get their hands dirty — and feelings hurt — to get their choice for the presidency into office. What HRC is saying is that if we don’t pull our heads out of our genteel and never-stereotyping asses, then this election is going to be our last as a semi-free country.
“One thing I give the right credit for is they never give up,” she said. “They are relentless. You know, they take a loss, they get back up, they regroup, they raise more money.” She added: “It’s tremendously impressive the way that they operate. And we have nothing like it on our side (Hillary Clinton Has Some Tough Words).”
She is right, and she has warned us about this right-wing moment for the past 30 years. In 1998, Mrs. Clinton spoke about a “vast right-wing conspiracy” and was mocked endlessly. The mocking continued right up through her loss in 2016, and each time she mentioned what was happening in our country on the campaign trail to voters, people rolled their eyes: There she goes again. And Al Gore invented the internet, right, right. The thing is, few Americans in the political arena have suffered so much at the hands of the right-wing conspiracy.
If you ask a wing-nut MAGidiot today about Ben Ghazi, they will call Clinton a traitor and begin chanting, “Lock her up.” The Republican-held Congress spent more time investigating what occurred at the diplomatic compound there than they did on 9/11 and January 6th. The right cares nothing about truth and improving the country and only about regaining power so it can continue to push the country into a Christo-fascist authoritarian state. Clinton’s comments in this latest interview pretty much prepare us for the inevitable takeover by Trump and his stormtroopers and the loss of our democracy.
“This election is existential. I mean, if we don’t make the right decision in this election in our country, we may never have another actual election. I will put that out there because I believe it,” she said. “And if we no longer have another actual election, we will be governed by a small minority of right-wing forces that are well organized and well funded and are getting exactly what they want in terms of turning the clock back on women.”
Mrs. Clinton described those forces and her former opponent as part of “global phenomena” restricting women’s rights, pointing to a push by Xi Jinping, the Chinese leader, pressing women to focus on raising children; the violent policing of women who violate Iran’s conservative dress code; and what she described as the misogyny of President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia.
“Authoritarians, whether they be political or religious based, always go after women. It’s just written in the history. And that’s what will happen in this country,” Mrs. Clinton said (Hillary Clinton Has Some Tough Words).”
Clinton says that the failure of Democrats to believe that the right was gunning to overturn Roe points to the naivete of Democrats. Like a herd of deer caught in headlights, the complacency of many liberals stems from the fact, and this is my opinion, that many are better off than the Trump-sick. Their better lives make them more accepting and a bit less fired up to get into people’s faces: “Well, if they vote for Trump, then that’s what people wanted, so who am I to force them to agree with me? When Trump’s goons begin to end our democracy and the fan is switched to high spraying the shit across the land, liberals will whine and complain — “How did this happen?” — but as Hillary is telling us, it will be too goddamn late to do anything.
Mrs. Clinton’s banging on this gong is good, but is it too late? Is she the wrong messenger? People hate this woman, and as I said, so much of the laser-like accuracy of her message is lost on many because they cannot tolerate her. Hillary Clinton is among the smartest and strongest (she handled Bill’s nonsense for so long) and the most qualified public servants of the last century. She is deaf when it comes to how people perceive her, though, and so, despite being a challenge beast (Survivor lingo), she would have been voted out at tribal council because of her amazingly weak social game.
“More people have got to wake up, because this is the beginning,” she said. “They really want us to just shut up and go home. That’s their goal. And nobody should be in any way deluded. They will force that upon us if they are given the chance.”
But she also seemed to expect that many would again dismiss her concerns. “Oh, my God, there she goes again,” she said, describing what she anticipated would be the reaction to her interview. “I mean, she’s just so, you know, so out there.”
But she added: “I know history will prove me right. And I don’t take any comfort in that because that’s not the kind of country or world I want for my grandchildren (Hillary Clinton Has Some Tough Words).”
Hillary Clinton is no longer under any delusion that people like her. She doesn’t care anymore, and that frees her. She is a mother, a grandmother, and a wife and was a highly successful senator and secretary of state. Vladimir Putin so feared her that he did everything he could to get Trump elected. Unfortunately, we will never know what a Hillary Rodham Clinton presidency would have led to. Still, I know two things: Fewer people would have died during COVID and there would never have been a January 6th.
The Christo-Fascist element with it's no holds barred, rat terrier style have resulted in the South finally winning the Civil War. As a worn out 75 yo I can only throw my body on the barricades or detach with a shot of vodka. Lord give me strength!
Excellent writing
Bravo her message is more than a message it’s the truth I read the other day a quote from Mark Twain I believe he wrote it in 1907 “Every civilization carries the seeds of its own destruction and the same cycle shows in all of them A Republic is born flourishes than decays into plutocracy and is captured by the shoemaker whom the mercenaries and millionaires make into a king”
