MAGA Losing It Over the New Pope
Not sufficiently racist, supports immigration, gun control, and has regularly criticized Trump's hate, it's a genuine MAGA nightmare.
As I wrote yesterday, the appointment of the first American pope, Robert Prevost from Chicago, is good for the United States. It’s good because the new Pope Leo is the anti-Trump. Admittedly, I know little about Pope Leo, but from what I have already read, he genuinely seems to be an ally of Pope Francis and will be somewhat of a continuation of Francis’s papacy, at least for the first few years.
It is the prospect of that, which is making the MAGA cult go berserk and, as usual, whine like little piglets being led to the slaughter. Cultists have been foaming at the collective mouth since it was announced that Robert Prevost would ascend to the papacy. It seems there is a rich, anti-Trump/anti-MAGA social media history floating around that has been exploding the fragile and unhealthy brains of the cultists.
It seems Pope Leo has more than once offered up thoughts and prayers for George Floyd — KAPOW! MAGA brain explodes, not that there would be a lot to clean up if such a thing did happen — maximum a Dixie Cup.
It seems that Pope Leo is for gun control — KABLAM! Brain matter oozes out of cultist ears.
There is just so much good stuff out there that our first American pope authored on his Twitter account, that honestly, I am giddy with glee over the ruined weekends of these traitorous, fascist shitheads.
As I have emphasized lately, there is nothing good or loving about MAGA. MAGA is the epitome of evil, violence, hate, and exclusion. MAGA is not America, it is Russia meets North Korea.
Within just a few hours of white smoke rising out of the Vatican, MAGA is already fuming over the new pope.
In April, he [Pope Leo] reposted Catholic writer Rocco Palmo, who wrote, “As Trump & Bukele use Oval to [aid] Feds’ illicit deportation of a US resident, once an undoc-ed Salvadorean himself, now-[Auxiliary Bishop Evelio Menjivar of Washington, D.C.] asks, “Do you not see the suffering? Is your conscience not disturbed? How can you stay quiet?”
“God Save the Church,” Jack Posobiec, the pitiable MAGA activist covering the papal conclave for The Charlie Kirk Show, wrote in a post on X.
The “End Wokeness” account on X posted screenshots of reposts from Prevost’s account, including posts that criticized Trump’s first-term immigration polices, one that advocated for gun reform, and another that advocated to “end racism in our hearts and in society,” in the wake of George Floyd’s murder (MAGA Is Already Losing Its Mind).
The vileness and hate that flows through the veins and words of MAGA is despicable, and thanks to the College of Cardinals, they chose an American pope with proven anti-Trump/anti-MAGA creds. I am beginning to believe they chose him for a reason. Pope Leo is on a mission from God, and I am sure we will hear years later, when the history of his selection is written, that many of the cardinals rationalized that an anti-Trump pope could benefit the world.
Despite our many excesses and naive messianism, a Democratically-led — or at least sane — America is good for the world. Ronald Reagan might have been good for the world because he pushed the Soviet Union to reform, which led to the collapse. George W. Bush was not good for the world in any way imaginable. Clinton, Obama, and Biden have proven to many worldwide that Democrats are better for the world’s needy.
The needy, the meek, and the humble in the world need to know that good Americans are still out there fighting for what is right. The fascist evil of Trump and MAGA, along with the evil of Russia, not just creates a sense of hopelessness, but also motivates other losers like the El Salvadoran criminal president to act without conscience. Today, on the so-called Victory over Fascism Day in Russia, when fascism has replaced the U.S. government, the world has been presented with a good pope who happens to be American.
Pope Leo has a mighty task before him, and I pray he will succeed because the world needs to be reassured that America still has a good side.
