“America is the greatest country in the world. Everything about us is the best. Our education system is the best. Our manufacturing is the best. Our food is the best. Our, you know, it’s also the best. Oh, and in case you didn’t know, we have the best, smartest, most talented, and patriotic president ever.”
If you believe anything I wrote in the first paragraph, you probably won’t like what follows in this article. Don’t get me wrong. Like most people from most other countries, I love my homeland. I don’t think, however, that we are exceptional. There were moments in history when we flirted with being exceptional, but those days are now gone, and sadly, I feel, for a long time.
Let’s take a snapshot of the last 24 hours. Donald Trump met with 220 foreign investors in his $Trump memecoin. One of the investors is a freak named Jason Sun. I met Jason shortly after the launch of his useless crypto token in San Francisco in 2019. He hosted the party, and impressed by the amount of top-shelf whiskeys, I thanked him for the hospitality. We chatted for about 10 minutes. It was the longest three hours I have barely survived in my life. Jason bought a piece of art last year for $6 million. He then took the tape off and ate the banana. Sun spent $10 million to be at Trump’s dinner yesterday.
While Trump was getting frequent updates from his coke-sniffing son, Don Jr., Trump’s stormtroopers at the Department of Homeland Security stated that Harvard University, the nation’s oldest and most esteemed institution of higher learning, could no longer enroll international students. 25% of Harvard’s students are foreign-born. Regarded as a magnet for some of the best minds in the world, without Harvard enrolling these students, many would find other institutions in the U.S., or most likely in China, never in Russia, Iran, or North Korea. Everything Trump does empowers Russia in its war of genocide and helps pave the road for China as it aspires to societal greatness.
High on the euphoria from his windfall yesterday and having stifled Harvard for not ending DEI programs and cowtowing to the orange tyrant wannabe, Trump went home frustrated because another night passed when he was unable to find his wife in White House, he took out his forced abstinence on the world by threatening to raise tariffs on Europe from 10 percent to 50 percent on June 1st. Whether he does or not, time will only tell, but what he is doing is again causing the market to drop, making it a good time for billionaires with money to buy low and watch as the money pours in when Trump decides not to enact a new round of economy-killing tariffs.
Let me remind you, the three things I just wrote about happened in the last 24 hours. If one of these things had been done by other presidents, it likely would have been the reason that that president lost re-election, or why his party was demolished during the mid-terms. Nothing happens to Donald Trump, though, and as the sun set on this day, tomorrow will bring more chaos, more weaponization of lawlessness, and will bring the United States of America one step closer to an all-out fascist dictatorship. We are an armed nation. When do Americans use the 2nd Amendment for the exact reason they all claim to be so enamored by that bloody mistake made by the Founding Fathers?
It is horrifying to watch what is happening. Is it as bad as I expected? Yes. Sadly, too many Americans are so economically f***** that they just can’t be bothered with fighting a revolution. I am not saying that people struggling to make ends meet are guilty for this. I understand why they aren’t building barricades. I don’t know why so many of them are so in love with a man who never would have let any of them enter that dinner last night, simply because he considers them too worthless and unclean.
Cultists, Trump hates you, and Jesus is sick of you. Wake up and fight to save your country because once they get bored with sending immigrants to concentration camps, they will be coming for you.
