May I Have a Nothing Burger with a Side of Nothing, Please?

The Biden-Hur tapes are much ado about zero, and yet again, the mainstream media protects Trump.

The mainstream media has grown bored reporting on Donald Trump’s destruction of our economy. There is very little outrage from journalists about the rising prices across the country, and that Trump is attacking businesses that raise prices to cover the tariffs. The multiple failures internationally, and the embarrassment of Trump sucking up to Arab dictators are also being met with silence.

Let’s see, what else? Every time Trump opens his mouth and tries to answer a question, you want to feel sorry for him because no one likes seeing an elderly person struggling with dementia. When Trump is somewhat coherent, he goes off on the wildest of diatribes and tangents, leaving everyone, including his closest handlers, dazed and confused: What the hell is going on about this time?

When people do understand him, he is usually whining about the “stolen election of 2020” or how “stupid and bad Biden was” and “that everything is Biden’s fault.” His raving rants never change. He latches onto some bizarre truth the way a child does, and despite potentially having the best and brightest minds around him, he exiles those smart people from our government and makes all of us sink to his ignorant, incompetent level. Vladimir Putin owns Trump, and as a result, the nation of Ukraine is now at the mercy of that murderous tyrant. The whole world has been turned upside down for no reason other than to appease the psychosis of a sick, sad, cowardly raping felon.

Most of the media either ignore what is happening or pretend that nothing out of the ordinary occurs. The attacks against James Comey and Bruce Springsteen are regarded by much of the media as usual stuff. On the right, though, the media normalizes those attacks, and they say the harassment by the Department of Justice of those private American citizens is justified.

And then, we learn that Joe Biden has cancer, and the right, including Trump, attack the suffering man, and the mainstream media reports on those attacks as if they are normal. The audio of the Hur interviews is released shortly after the release of the Jake Tapper book, Original Sin. The mainstream media wakes up and blasts Biden, further burying more of the chaos of Trump and his failures.

I listened to a significant portion of the released Hur tapes. You hear an elderly man, the sitting President of the United States, feeling reluctant to be forced to answer questions about boxes his aides placed in his garage, or basement, in some cases, over a decade earlier. When the special counsel Robert Hur asked President Biden about his son Beau, who died in 2015, Biden struggled to recall the exact year. This was a moment that the cowardly traitors on the right have latched onto in their claims to show how lost and dementia-ridden he was. Any mental health professional will tell you the president was avoiding thinking about that day because it was one of the worst in his living memory.

Joe Biden, in the tapes, sounds a bit tired, and as I said, a lot like an elderly man whose life’s work has been devoted to helping the working class of his country, but was being forced instead to talk about bullshit. Instead of Hur thanking the president for his dedication to the government and unparalleled patriotism, he was trying to trip an aging man up. Biden, known for his temper, was more than likely struggling to overcome the Irish part of him that wanted to tell Robert Hur to f*** himself.

The Hur-Biden tapes are boring. There is no smoking gun. However, the smoking gun we do have blathers on endlessly daily, boring everyone to tears. He abuses our allies, disrespects heroes, calls racists good people, and lies incessantly to pad his own pockets. Donald Trump is a walking-talking poster freak for a textbook full of mental health problems. He is a traitor to our country, and the rollercoaster the world has been on since he took office is not normal.

It is pure insanity. Why is CNN and the rest of the mainstream media focusing on this?
