Russians Using Ukrainians as Human Shields
And other less deplorable but really stupid acts by Russia's heroes
The great heroes of Russia’s war of genocide against Ukraine have outdone themselves this time. First, we will begin with the horrible, and then we can share a good laugh at the expense of Putin’s army of misfits.
Russian soldiers have been captured by drones making videos of front lines pushing Ukrainian POWs ahead of them while they crouch down behind the poor fellow. Moving in a single file, a video captures two and three men at a time crouching down behind one soldier as they move on Ukrainian lines. The Russians are furtively peaking around the body of the man and firing their weapons as they advance slowly forward.
The Russians move forward with the Ukrainians shielding them, trying to draw fire from the Ukrainian troops to determine their exact positions. After the Ukrainians start firing, the Russians retreat with their Ukrainian POWs.
The video of fighting in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhya Oblast, filmed from above by a drone, appears to show several of Vladimir Putin’s combatants firing from behind captive Ukrainian soldiers.
Reporters working for Radio Free Europe (RFE) say they have been able to identify the location of the battle, but have not disclosed this information at the request of the Ukrainian military.
However, RFE was able to identify Russian soldiers from the 234th Air Assault Regiment (part of the 76th Air Assault Division) in the footage, confirming their presence in what is said to be a front-line sector (Ukrainian Troops as Human Shields).
I am not really sure how to express my disgust, but to be honest, this behavior from Russians does not surprise me at all. They are not an honorable people. I have written many times before that human life has no value in Russian culture, and so that is why these Russian soldiers consider their actions to be completely normal. The way their government treats them is the way they treat others — in this case, all Ukrainians.
There is a reason to smile, though
While the Su-25 combat support jet is not comparable to the U.S. A-10, otherwise known as the Warthog, it is a workhorse jet providing close support to Soviet and Russian troops since 1975. It seems the other day, Russian air defense shot down a Ukrainian Su-25.
The Russians heard through radio intercepts celebrating the downing of the valuable jet. There was only one problem. The Russians shot down the plane, but it wasn’t a Ukrainian.
Russia shot down one of its prized fighter jets by mistake, the commander of Ukraine’s Air Force has claimed.
Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said on Telegram that Ukraine was not responsible for downing it.
“I can confidently state that it was not the Ukrainian air defense that shot down the Russian Su-25 attack aircraft! These were clearly the coordinated actions of Russian anti-aircraft troops, for which the entire Ukrainian people send them great thanks!” said Oleshchuk (Russia Shot Down Another of Its Prized Fighters).
This isn’t the first time Russia has shot down one of its prized fighters, and I have 1000 rubles I am willing to wager that it won’t be the last time.
Russia’s military truly is a three-ring circus. The only problem is that the cages that formerly secured the wild animals have been opened, and the doors are ajar.

It’s cultural humor, so it might not be so funny to some, but it’s worth a viewing. The image shows the typical kitchen the next morning after a full night of drinking lots of vodka!
