Springfield, Illinois Is Suffering What All America Will Under Trump

A small, calm town has been turned upside down by A Trumpian break with reality.

He has done it again. By writing this article, I am playing along with the rules of his game…his endless game. Donald Trump has again distracted everyone from the nation’s real problems. He has distracted his base from the real issues and pushed into the WAWA, breakfast nooks, checkout lines, and dinner tables, which is the case of the grilling of the cats and dogs!

In the way, Adolf Hitler claimed Germans were being offended in the Sudetenland, and Putin has repeatedly said his invasions are to protect native Russians from being harassed and oppressed, Donald Trump has chosen two American communities that are now worse off thanks to his irresponsible and hateful lies: Aurora, Colorado and Springfield are struggling to deal with the fallout of the vicious and racist lies of the man representing the Republican Party in its bid to regain the presidency.

Two days after Donald Trump mentioned Springfield, Ohio, in the presidential debate, falsely accusing Haitian migrants in the town of abducting and eating pets, the city is already rocked by threats of violence.
On Thursday morning, Springfield City Hall was evacuated due to a bomb threat “to multiple facilities throughout Springfield,” according to a city statement. Mayor Rob Rue did not release the exact language of the threat, but said it came from an individual claiming to be from Springfield who expressed frustration related to Haitian immigrants.
Springfield government officials say they were made aware of the threat, which “was sent to multiple agencies and media outlets,” via an email message at 8:24 a.m (Trump’s Deranged Migrant Conspiracy).

Springfield, Illinois, is a stereotypical town in the United States. Predominantly populated by white Americans, it fell on hard times when Republican policies drove companies offshore to China and then other Asian countries. The passing of NAFTA accelerated the offshoring, and the town fell on hard times. As in many towns, though, newly-arriving immigrants started to build small businesses catering to their needs and the empty downtown storefronts were suddenly open again. The Main Streets of these towns across the nation again became destinations for families, including many old-time residents.

Donald Trump, however, needed something to keep the anger, fear, and hate burning, so reaching into his sock drawer, he found some old magazines filled called “Barely Legal” and “Big Butts.” He tossed them into the fire to rekindle the only energy he could muster in people. He is the master of hate and ignorance; many MAGidiots relish being warmed by those two things. The sun rose on the small minds of American racists and Republicans after the debate, and voila, Trump had a new sideshow to pull away circus attendees — “Come one, come all, see the pets’-eating Haitians.”

When Trump was president and before he became president, he aggressively used the bully pulpit to destroy people’s lives. The mother and daughter in Georgia who volunteered to count votes still hide from the Trump-motivated haters. Trump gets power from attacking good Americans. It makes him happy to see how he can destroy so many lives with the flick of a wrist and without breaking a sweat. It makes him feel like a man to see how so many dopes follow his lead and then attack these innocent people like rabid animals.

If Trump wins, he will be coming for all of us. Many towns will suffer what Springfield and Aurora are today. He promises to use the army to go to Aurora to kick out the Venezuelan gang members. How many gunned-up, “My Little Pony” watching white dopes are getting sexually aroused at the prospect of joining the great Trump Army of Vigilantes this Sunday?

The mayor of Springfield, a Republican, has slept since the debate. He is trying to fight back against Trump’s lunacy. How much do you want to bet that this mayor will cast his vote for Trump?

It’s nuts, really.
