'The Homegrowns Are Next. You Gotta Build Like 5 More of Those Places'
Everyone in the Oval Office who heard those words giggled.

We are all duty-bound. The Constitutional crisis is upon us. Donald Trump has stopped pretending he can help the El Salvadoran man illegally snatched off the streets of Maryland and sent to a Trump-imagined concentration camp in El Salvador. Trump is now openly mocking the Supreme Court and all Americans who still believe in the Constitution. Yesterday, he met with the president of El Salvador, and all he had to do was say:
“Hey, listen, let’s get this guy back to his wife and son. Can you find him in that prison and give him back?”
The El Salvadoran president would have responded in the affirmative because he wants to stay friends with the U.S. Images of him buddying up with POTUS strengthen his position in his own country. However, sensing that Trump and his fascist minions have zero intention of ever seeking the return of the innocent man, Abrego Garcia, when asked by a reporter whether he would facilitate the return of Garcia, President Nayib Bukele mocked the journalist and all Americans who still believe in the Constitution:
“No. Why would I return a terrorist to the U.S.? Your question is preposterous.”
The face of Donald Trump, upon hearing those words, quickly contorted itself into a Grinch-like smile.
Stephen Miller, winner of the “I can out evil Reinhard Heydrich” contest and the author of Trump’s immigration agenda, had to excuse himself to the bathroom where he had his way with himself while imagining what could be in store for all Americans shortly after that meeting.
Trump was caught off-mic telling the thug-like President Bukele that, given the success of this first concentration camp, the U.S. could start sending American citizens convicted of “bad crimes” to El Salvador. In his usual “He was just joking around” manner, Trump told Bukele that he should consider building “five more such places” to house the imminent flow of Americans that Trump and his praetorian guard deem “not in awe of Trump” enough.
Donald Trump is slowly approaching the point where he becomes more Putin than Putin, and thanks to the abject ignorance of his cult and the weakness of the Republicans in Congress, the Supreme Court’s Frankenstein is running amok. Openly ignoring the Court’s order to return the man, Trump is not only refusing to do so, but he is also letting it be known that in the blink of an eye, without the whisper of judicial review, American citizens will soon find themselves whisked away for lifelong vacations to U.S.-sponsored El Salvadoran concentration camps.
What the f*** are we waiting for, people? If this isn’t the threat that drives us to the streets, then I don’t know what it will take.
As Trump loved to say when he was being prosecuted for the crimes he committed during his first term — and after — “If they come for me, they can come for you.” Donald Trump told the world yesterday that he will be coming for all Americans, and he openly agreed with the corrupt president of El Salvador to facilitate not the return of a wrongly-arrested man, but the receipt of soon-to-be-wrongly-arrested anti-Trump American citizens.
Yesterday, for the first time, fear struck my heart. Not freezing fear but the "wake up you head in the sand old man" fear. My cute cry to "man the barricades" is ready for a T shirt I will wear everyday
