The un-Dynamic Duo: Trump and Putin Show Us Just How Smart Honey Boo Boo Really Was
Russians and Republicans sit idly by and watch as their 'dear leaders' lead the world into a moral and intellectual abyss.
I never had anything against Honey Boo Boo. What made my head spin was the fact that America was so enamored with the family. Watching the ignorance unfold on the TV, which passed off as just “normal Americans being normal,” I always struggled to believe that the Boo Boo Family (Thompson was their real name) was not just some creation of snarky Hollywood millennials.
Then Donald Trump was elected, and I realized that no, Boo Boo and her ilk were much more than an ilk — they were an entire cohort in our nation. One of the most significant characteristics that joined them to each other was a desire to rise above anonymity thanks to reality entertainment: reality TV, stupid videos on YouTube, Facebook, then later Twitter, and now TikTok. Like Ronald Reagan before him, who used his hosting of the General Electric Theater series (1954 to 1962) to introduce himself to Americans, thus turning him into a household name, Donald Trump used The Apprentice — “Yu-war fi-erd!”
Donald Trump is a side-effect of the Honey Boo Boo evolution of American political discourse.
To better understand where Trump is coming from when he makes his boilerplate ignorant comments about pretty much everything, we need to comprehend the mindset of Honey Boo Boo and her mom. In addition, by understanding Ms. Boo Boo, we can also get a better understanding of Vladimir Putin and where the “legs” for his lunacy “grow” — where the “legs grow” is a Russian expression.
Donald Trump recently said the following:
One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, ‘Well sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?’ I said, ‘You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent?’ He said, ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No, I would not protect you.”
Trump then added: “In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want (Donald Trump Threatens NATO) .”
I get the sense that Trump found inspiration for that comment in this well-known witticism from the Boo Boo world.
“I hope y’all are getting that flesh-eating disease! I’ll laugh (10 Craziest Quotes)!”
Or maybe this one:
“My mother has told me in the past that if you fart 12 to 15 times a day, you can lose a lot of weight (10 Craziest Quotes).”
In the hard-cutting interview of Vladimir Putin by Tucker Carlson, Russia’s president spoke about how the invasion of Poland by Hitler was a “good thing.” He also alluded to the “much-talked-about Molotov and Ribbentrop Pact” as if it had been a good thing designed to protect the Soviet Union from Polish and Western aggression.
The post included a clip from Putin’s interview with Carlson. Subtitles stated “The Poles forced, they played too long and forced Hitler to start World War II with them. Why did the war begin with Poland on September 1, 1939?
“Poland was uncooperative. Hitler had nothing else to do in the realization of his plans but to start with Poland (Putin Defends Hitler’s Invasion of Poland)?”
Did this Boo Boo-ism guide Putin’s hand when he dropped this historical doozy into the ether?
When describing female genitalia during her daughter’s ultrasound, Mama June equates anatomy to food. Because if a biscuit is “cooked right,” like those “from Hardee’s or something,” it looks like a vulva (10 Craziest Quotes).
Do you see what I am getting at here, dear readers? We are in a world where anyone can say anything, and if it gets transferred from the mere spoken word to pixels, dashes, and dots that appear before us here, then those words no longer need to be validated or checked. 95 percent of humans out there are just receptors for the lies and lunacy being churned out non-stop by people — like Putin and Trump — who understand that truth is for suckers. Truth in 2024 is subjective.
Did a falling tree in the forest with no one around make noise? It did if you say so — and it didn’t if you say so. This is the nuance that shapes our reality today, folks, and no one better than Putin, Trump, and Ms. Boo Boo understand that.
‘Etiquette classes are for stupid people (Honey Boo Boo Quotes).’
Putin and Putinists, Trump, and MAGidiots are going to say whatever they need to say to justify their seizure of power and our shared morales, and sadly, a lot of people are perfectly fine with this.
