Trump Regards Putin and Russia as Victims
And is doing everything he can to punish Ukraine for the genocide against their country. May they all go to hell.
The Russian military has committed unthinkable crimes against the Ukrainian people. The Russian people, for the most part, have accepted the violence. When Ukrainians fight back, they get angry and grow indignant. Russian society is morally weak and soulfully vapid. I know. I lived there for 30 years. Russians are not a strong people to be envied. The narrative that they are because they held off the Nazis is a myth. The defeat of German armies in Russia had more to do with weather and attrition than anything Russia did.
The image above is from the Palm Sunday attack in Ukraine. 34 innocent Ukrainians celebrating the holiday were killed. The Kremlin claims that the attack was against a military facility, not civilians. Someone should tell the seven children who died that they were soldiers, or the elderly man lying dead in the image above.
Donald Trump has commanded that the United States stop investigating Russia’s thousands of war crimes — crimes against humanity. With Pope Francis now gone from this Earth, Trump has taken it on himself to act as the servant of Jesus. Waving his small orange hand, he has granted forgiveness to Putin and all Russians who are guilty of those crimes. As for the thousands of children Russia has stolen from Ukraine and their parents, get used to living in Russia because no one in the United States will lift a finger to help you. At least, that is what Donald Trump and the cowardly fascists around him tell us.
Vladimir Putin has upped the ante. He will not accept any peace settlements until Ukraine officially surrenders to Russia and lays down its arms. Ukraine will be forbidden from rearming ever again, and Trump has stated they will be banned from joining NATO. No security guarantees will be given to Ukraine, and all territories currently under Russia’s control will be officially recognized as part of Russia. The United States is tripping over itself to recognize Crimea as Russian territory.
President Zelensky has said that he cannot accept those terms. JD Vance has threatened that the U.S. will walk away and leave Ukraine to suffer on its own. Trump reminds us that none of this is his problem or responsibility because Crimea was taken during “Barack Hussein Obama’s presidency, and if he hadn’t been cheated out of the 2020 election, the war would never have happened.”
And then goes on to add, “Ukraine never should have started the war.”
All Republicans remain quiet. MAGA cheers Trump on. And NATO without the U.S. is too weak to help Ukraine.
We, the citizens of the United States, are now as guilty, weak, and cowardly as all of Russia is. I am ashamed to the innermost core of my soul. I spit on every single American who voted for Trump. I am ready to fight every one of you who still supports this treason, these sins, this weakness.
I celebrated Easter Sunday with a Ukrainian family. We ate traditional Ukrainian food, drank too much Ukrainian vodka, and slathered homemade meat jelly with very “angry” horseradish to wash down that vodka. Then, we ate “Paski” with tea.
Then I went onto Facebook and saw a post from a Russian friend (former) who supports Putin and the war. She talked about a “super holy” icon in a church in the Leningrad Region. The icon “brings miracles to life.” She was fortunate enough to have spent time alone on Easter Sunday with that icon.
“Oh, holy Russia, how good you are,” she surely prayed.
How I hope a drone finds that church with that icon and blows it to bits. How dare they think they are holy? How dare MAGA Christians think they have anything in common with the teachings of Jesus? All of them belong in hell.
Yes, I agreed with all of this. NATO should plan to kick the U.S. out, fill the void with their own military build up, and then accept Ukraine into NATO. The U.S. can no longer be trusted. Shameful.
Agreed 100%. Well-written and argued.
