Nikki Haley On Maine Shooting: "Mental Health in the US is a Cancer"
She's right, and she, like so many Americans, is absolutely nuts

Let me get it out of the way: Shut the f*** up, dummy!
So cathartic. Try it. When you get into your car today and find yourself in traffic or a long wait at a fast-food drive-thru, shout it to the rooftops. So as not to ruin your mood, shout it with a smile, and be sure to replace the asterisks with actual letters.
Sean Hannity said that if he found himself in a mass shooting, he would use his mixed martial arts skills to fight his way out of the nightmare.
Speaking on his Fox News show with Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley about the shooting, Hannity suggested people have a “personal security plan” to prepare for being involved in a shooting.
He said: “When something like this happens, what is your plan? What do you do? I have a personal security plan. I train in mixed martial arts.”
Hannity also said he was a “big believer in the Second Amendment,” but his belief came “with the prayer that I would never have to use it (Sean Hannity’s Response to the Maine Shooting).”
Nikki Haley didn’t laugh, she just said that people in America are crazy and that is why there are so many shootings.
A Democratic Maine Congressman, Jarod Golden, has reversed his years-long stand and decided to call for an assault rifle ban. Admitting that Congress was failing the American people, the tragedy close to his home now threatens his chances of being re-elected. It seems like he is catching onto the winds of change from the crazy people in his state — remember, people only commit such atrocities because so Americans cuckoo in the head.
Well, according to right-wing Americans who we know are some of the smartest at their Klan meetings and backwoods jamborees.
“The time has now come for me to take responsibility for this failure,” Mr. Golden said. He asked “for forgiveness and support” from the people of Lewiston and the loved ones of the victims and survivors as he pledged to work toward reviving the ban (Representative Jared Golden of Maine).
Standing near was the Maine Senator, Susan Collins. She stunned everyone with a one-liner because that is all anyone had time for given how slowly she speaks, for the ages:
“There’s always more that can be done,” she said.
Blown away? I was. Let me also add, no shit, Susan. The only thing she won’t do is consider a ban on assault weapons or any kind of gun control. Oh, well, yet another missed opportunity to do more.
The congresswoman everyone loves to dislike, who has been very quiet lately which is good for her constituents and her future political career, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrat of New York, shocked me in her praise for Golden. She said that his announcement to call for an assault weapons ban was “powerful, brave and moving.”
Really? I mean, really? Are they dating or something? What was so GD powerful, brave, or moving about GD speaking the GD commonsense truth? Goddamnit! Man, they are all self-obsessed idiots! Congress is like a theater of the absurd. One of the nut-jobs suggests the obvious and for that, he is labeled “brave.” Shut up!
Another, while secretly I am sure giggling, says that “there is always more that can be done,” but I choose to do nothing. Shut up!
And, the purveyor of middle America’s opinion and sense of self-worth, Sean Hannity, tells them that MMA is the answer if someone starts shooting at you in the local bowling alley.
Goddamn, we really are a crazy, lost-in-space, upside-down nation!
What would Susan Collins, Nikki Haley, and Sean Hannity tell Tricia Allen?
Tricia Asselin, 53, was the heart of her tight-knit family and worked as a part-time employee at the bowling alley, Just-in-Time Recreation, her siblings told CNN.
Even on her night off on Wednesday, Asselin was at Just-in-Time, her brother told CNN.
“What I’m told is that when it all started happening, she ran up to the counter and started to call 911, and that’s when she was shot,” DJ Johnson told CNN. “That was just her. She wasn’t going to run. She was going to try and help (What We Know About the Victims).”
Or:
Peyton Brewer-Ross, 39, was participating in a cornhole tournament at Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant when he was killed, his brother Ralph Brewer told CNN. Brewer-Ross loved playing cornhole and enjoying hanging out with friends at Schemengees.
Brewer-Ross “loved being a dad more than anything else,” his brother said. Two weeks ago, Brewer-Ross celebrated the second birthday of his daughter, Elle (What We Know About the Victims).”
Nikki Haley is so right! It’s sheer insanity.
Your expressions of anger and disgust are somewhat cathartic. One bloodbath after another has somewhat desensitized me from feeling emotional when news of another public mass assassination of innocent Americans, going about their business, takes place. We’re approaching a “wild west” scenario in every American city, where common sense is starting to tell us to “Stay the fuck home!” More and more nations are telling their citizens that travel to the US is something to avoid because of the random slaughter of people doing what people do.
